When Cait was a little girl, she was hanging out with one of her fellow 3-year old friends at her home in Chicopee. Cait liked to listen to records even at this tender, young age. So, she and her friend were sitting in her room, listening to her parents’ records. One of these records was of “Those Were The Days, My Friend” by Mary Hopkins. Cait, being so overwhelmed with the nostalgia that this song brought to her little, toddler heart began shouting at her friend, “Isn’t this the saddest song you’ve ever heard?!” Basically this is the moment that I think best sums up my dear friend Caitlin Lord.
