If i met River Phoenix i would ask him. Why he let all that great talent go to waste, And what was on his mind at that moment in his life that drove him to make that decision…. Tell him that i loved him the moment i saw him in lean on me years before i knew he wasn’t on earth anymore…. I loved you then and still do.. R.I.P.
I don’t think River wanted to die, he made a mistake; was young and experiencing life…people make mistakes!
Also his talent did NOT go to waste because we can still watch his films and enjoy his acting. He was a good actor and should be remembered that why, not the way he died.
