The last time I saw brady forrest
I don’t know Brady all that well, but I got to hang out with him a bit the other night when we attended Josh’s speech on Ben Franklin and Web 2.0, then had some drinks afterward. Brady, a fan himself, pointed out the Moleskine notebook I’d brought along. It was my first Moleskine, the first scratchpad I genuinely loved, and it contained, as all brand-name notebooks are required to, Very Important Things. At some point in the evening, it vanished. Was it at a bar? On a street corner? At a bus stop? In a cab? Who knows. All I know is, Brady was there, notebooks were discussed, and…poof. Now, I’m not saying he’s some kind of malevolent Moleskine Midas who turns your writing into dust instead of gold. No, I’m just telling a story, a factual one, about Brady. He’s a nice guy and all, but BEWARE.
