My favorite memories of Phil stem from his earlier years as a photographic and general technological adept. He seemed to absorb everything like a sponge, and his sense of humour meant that working with him was rarely ever boring! Even at a young age, he’d been extremely well-read and very articulate. I’m pleased to see that in the years since, he’s clearly taken those traits to new levels.
