I ran into Rufus on 59th Street in NYC about five years ago. I was so nervous but I had to speak to him! I probably made an ass of myself but I am glad I was able to tell him how much I appreciate his music and to shake his hand. I saw him perform that night at Carnegie Hall and he blew my mind.
