A story about me
Twice I have rescued wounded wild animals. One was a raccoon and the other was a possum.

Yeah me and my mum once came back from holday and found a hedgehog had fallen down the external stairs to the basement and landed up on the drain cover, so we nursed it back to health by wrapping it up and feeding it warm milk with the pipette out of my science set
You don’t really get raccoons or possums in the UK though

That's a shame.
Raccoons are really adorable. Possoms not so much. I love hedgehogs. Did you keep it or release it back into the wild? I worked in a pet store for a while and I was constantly taking home the sick animals and trying to help them because the pet store would’ve just put them in a freezer to die (!) if they were a “low value” creature like a mouse, hamster, gerbil etc. It was heartbreaking.
