Just about everything this guy draws strikes a chord with me. Probably because we draw from the same references and inspirations (Douglas Adams, Monty Python, etc.) – he as an artist and I as a writer. But his recent strips about the torture of carrying a pager resonated with me because if it hadn’t been for my own hatred of the midnight beep, I’d never have quit that particular job and gotten a bit closer to writing as a full-time profession.
