“The Year of the Troubles”- that’s how I classify 2006. A simple operation triggered a disease that I’ll have to be vigilant about the rest of my days, as well as complications that resulted in a blood clot in my superior vena cava. However, I’m still here, so 2007 is my WTF year. I’m trying to do one thing a month to get me out of my comfort zone. In January, it was the Polar Bear Plunge, February will be a trip to Copenhagen, and March…we’ll just have to wait and see what presents itself. The gratitude I have for life is almost overwhelming and I’ve developed a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out).
