When I was in Japan two years ago, my friend Asuka and I went to Harajuku to take some Purikura. We went to this one shop that you could pose with templates of Jrockers, and I saw Miyavi’s picture in the window. I thought it would be cute to “pose” with him. When we got in the shop, the few people inside were freaking out. They were speaking in rushed Japanese and I couldn’t understand. Asuka started freaking out, and finally told me in English that Miyavi had just been at the Purikura shop 5 minutes previous and had taken pictures of himself with himself. Apparently it was the only Purikura shop at the time to have a template of him. I saw the pictures, I even offered the shopkeeper $200 for one, but he said he couldn’t give it to me. Just more proof that I have the worst luck ever. Had I been 5 minutes earlier, I could’ve met Miyavi.
