Faith is the coolest chick I know, even if she thinks she isn’t cool at all. I enjoy looking at her photos and her journal entries, but I most enjoy her poetry. She is a master weaver of words. I also consider her to be remarkably beautiful, even if it’s shallow of me to say so.
Wouldn’t it be delightful to hear her speak, and watch her move, and experience her intellect in real life,?
i doubt if i deserve such high praise but i shall accept your words as graciously as i can without giggling, only because in ‘real life’ i am a total mullet most the time. i ooze biscuit through my teeth at my son and tell him to think about diarrhea for goodness sake!!
it is always nice to be recognised for things that come from the heart tho, and my poems and many of my photos do, so i appreciate your comments indeed.

Funny, but I was flipping through some of your old posts, and saw something about disliking people who complemented you too much, and got all self-conscious.
We can only see one or two facets of each other through the internet, after all, and so a lot of the “mullet and dishwashing” of life gets filtered out, and we see each other through our works, like poetry and photographs, and the love we have for the special people in our lives. Each of us and our friends on 43T see each other through a lens of our own making.
But here’s the challenge. Who are we, really? Are we just ordinary people who wash dishes and watch TV and go shopping on tuesday, or are we the beautiful facets that we are so proud of, we post them for the world to see, with all the daily mash removed?
I see you one way. You see me one way. Both of us have other facets, and both of us have the banality of life. I choose to see the poetry is all.
