I am currently checking out this site trying to see what it’s all about. I found your entries by typing in “15-year-old and my temper.” haha My son and I had just had a fight and I was thinking, “what am I doing wrong????” He’s a good kid, ya know. I found it interesting where you said you finally stopped losing your temper with your son and began talking to him as you would your friend (not trying to be his friend, but simply with human regard). I feel like such a nimrod for not realizing this myself!

I am waiting for him to get home from school now and am actually nervous about having to admit to him that I was way out of line yesterday and that he and I will be communicating more like we used to (ya know, before puberty took over…like when they are young and cute…and they still liked you ;) hehe

As soon as I figure this website out, all its functions, etc., I’ll be contacting you, if you don’t mind that is ;)
