Wish we had more time to chat at the 43T meetup, SWAZ. I particularly enjoyed our little chat walking away from Ti Couz—I couldn’t agree more about the tone set by lots of online communities. Hope you stick around 43T for a while longer.
Now my question. SWAZ is swell, but what does SWAZ mean?
Only two people ever called me it back in the 70s, the guy who coined it and the other guy that was in the room. It is my last name with one of the letters rotated 90 degrees.
I revived it for screenname about five years back and now there are people all over the world that know me only by that name. There are even people that knew me before I started using it, that now always refer to me as "Swaz".I probably left the caps lock unintentionally when signing up for my 43 Things account. I have grown to like it all caps and am going to keep it like that.
