The real reason I want to meet Johnny Depp
Sometimes, I am amused at the way I can spend hours together, just plainly staring at those sharp features which well defines every character he ought to define. A well cut jawline, intelligent eyes, lips usually held tight in an obvious sneer, and uncombed hair falling haphazardly over his simple yet eye-catching visage.
The mere virility in his looks seem to catch my undivided attention. But no, he isn’t the most attractive celebrity to me (because Brad Pitt would always grab that one). A musician, great actor, director, and humanitarian are the things which makes him appreciated. But the bad boy image that was conceived after displaying an attitude that was classified as devil-may-care, and the several brushes with the law are other occurences that makes the fascination for him grow stronger. That means that the liking is not only for his unprecedented appearance but also for the unmatched skills he manages to display onscreen.
“Captain Jack Sparrow” of the Pirates of the Carribean fame. “Willy Wonka” of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. “Sir James Matthew Barrie” of Finding Neverland. “Mort Rainey” of the Secret Window. “Inspector Fred Abberline” of From Hell. “Roux” of Chocolat. “Constable Ichabod Crane” of Sleepy Hollow. And of course, the Tim Burton Classic Edward Scissorhands to the latest Corpse Bride as “Victor Van Dort”.
He is one actor who successfully carved a niche for himself as a serious, and somewhat dark performer who always surprises the audience with his choice of roles.
