It was at Adam Roarke’s that I met Lou Diamond Phillips. I wouldn’t say Adam was one of the greatest acting teachers of all time, but he was a solid film acting teacher who knew the business. I just learned recently that he died of a heart attack about ten years after I studied with him. That’s sad. He was a good teacher and an interesting man.
