I have been away from 43 Places a long time. I guess I’ve not much time and my blog has also been keeping me busy.

2007 has been a busy year, marked principally by our move to Italy.

I have to learn a new language (Italian), see the children through a new school and a new language of instruction (English), chauffer them to their ECAs, continue to cook, clean etc.

I had to leave friends behind (yet again) and make new ones. I am exploring a new country (and for the moment not liking it too much).

In Dec, my brother got married and I went back to Singapore to attend the wedding. I had my eyes lasiked.

I also realised how much I’ve missed my country, family and friends. In my 20s I wanted to leave home and now in my 30s, I wonder why I ever left.

I’ve put on 7kgs after stuffing myself sick during the trip. Will I get to lose it all in 2008?

I hope that this new year will bring me more wisdom, that I’ll be able to learn more about how to be a good mother, that relations will mature and only become better with my Hub. I wish for good health for all my loved ones and much happinness and wish that everybody will be much surrounded by love, goodwill and friendship.
