Fiona’s voice intrigues me, and her lyrics are my life stories sang beautifully by an amazing woman. I saw her concert at mohegan sun a couple years ago, and she broke down onstage. i feel a deep empathetic connection to her. i struggle with anorexia and choosing between descending into the disorder and fighting to live and wondering if its even worth it consumes me and drives me insane, i’m highly emotional and angry, depressed, curse like a sailor, anxious, have gone through a lot of emotional/sexual/physical trauma, and am just… a disaster.
i can feel the anger and emotion and passion that she exudes in her music. paper bag is ME!
i want to give her a giant hug and sit down and have a deep conversation with her… it’s hard to find people who understand the pain, velocity, even the concept of the kind of things she and i have been through. i would love to meet her… her music is beautifully haunting, she is gorgeous, and can connect with her on a personal level.
