A story about Jimmy Carter

I was a kid when he was president, and my impression of him was less than favorable. A lot having to do with a SNL Three Mile Island skit.

Anyway, since becoming an ex-president, Mr. Carter is completely fascinating. I believe he is truly good person. Also, I think he is spot on about the Middle East situation.

A story about Jimmy Carter

He is one of a very few men I really look up to. He is one of my Hero’s. He says what he means, he means what he says and he does not say it mean. He is a humble honest hard working man whom I greatly admire. He walks the walk, he lives what he believes. Men like him are few and far between. An honest politician is almost a contradiction in terms, Jimmy Carter is one of those men. Jimmy Carter is the exception to the rule. He is an honest politician. I honor and respect him greatly.

Why I want to meet Jimmy Carter

Jimmy, you got maligned for your presidency! You’re on of the most articulate people I’ve seen, extremely intelligent. Of all the christians I’ve met, I always think of you as a role model for what good christians should aspire to—grace, dignity, eloquence, wisdom and most of all, a love and esteem for their fellow man. I wish more people of all faiths held to a similar standard in their moral code! I hope you read this ‘cause, mate, your aces in my book!

My favorite memory of Jimmy Carter

When I was small President (then Govoner) Carter and his wife went to my Grandparents church. They sat in front of my family and one day I was talking to him and he said he liked my freckles. I told them I hated them and wanted them to go away. He told me he wanted to buy them and gave me a nickle for them. So now they belong to him.
