A question I have about Thom Yorke
Are you really depressed most of the time? I’ve only seen you smile like, once.

His music is just fantastic, and he strikes me as someone very creative. That is inspiring.
I’ve seen Radiohead live (which was, obviously, INCREDIBLE… like, I still drool a little thinking about it) but never have been closer to Thom than about a few hundred metres.
I find Radiohead so unique because of their integrity; they genuinely CARE about the issues they sing about and Thom manages to make such succint observations about the state of society within his beautiful lyrics and melodies.
Anyone who doesn’t like Radiohead doesn’t like music. _ Fact.
And there’s just something about his pixie-face that makes me want to pat him on the head and give him a cup of tea.
As another poster said, “Most other bands seem meaningless after Radiohead.” I do miss hearing them rock out though. Experimentation is nice, but…
His voice is tantalizingly beautiful and in my humble opinion he’s created one of the most successfully experimental bands out there—and I don’t find success on a financial or popularity scale important, I mean successful in that Radiohead’s music is creatively experimental and manages to sound good. So many bands go experimental and end up sounding terrible, or else like just another experimental band. Radiohead’s music remains unique and this I admire very much. His songs are so skillful at capturing a mood, especially that crooning, melancholy tone which is so appealing. I cannot say how important to me Radiohead’s music has become over the past year; it means a lot to me, especially because of its difference from everything else to which I have had exposure.
Oh, and did I mention I love his voice? Love love. <3
How can you not? Yeah, he seems grumpy most of the time but as soon as he smiles it’s like WOW. meltdown
And his music speaks for itself.
To make sweet sweet love to him…while he sings to me. Yes…
