I admire Ellen Degeneres so much! She has been through so much adversity in her career and has managed to rise above it to be a great comedienne, a humanitarian, and a fabulous optimist. I love the way she promotes happiness in our society of doom and gloom, and the gifts she gives to those in need are completely life-affirming.
