Mike hosted a post-Future of Web Apps get together at his house that I attended with Brian Oberkirch. Mike shared some insightful thoughts at FOWA and it was nice meeting him in person. Thanks for the introduction to ‘triple tip’ Mike! – new one for us Texans.
We joked about experiences of being unruly members of the press pool at Apple events.
My aim is one day I will have an idea worth reporting by Mike.
Until then, I like his writing and his quest for Web2.0 ideas.
He’s a great blogger. Techcrunch came to nowhere and has become a very popular blog. I enjoy reading it very much. I keep it on my Netvibes homepage.
What isn’t there to like about Mike? Him and I came to teh Valley around the same time…both of us not knowing what we were in store for.
Today, we are both in love with the culture and enthusiastic to see where it goes. Who knows, we’ll probably both be jaded at the same time, too? As long as I stay in sync with Mike, everything is a-ok.
Mike’s a totally genuine guy. His writing is crisp, clear and cuts through the BS. He’s a real asset to the web community and I’m glad to have gotten to know him in past couple of months!
