The last time I saw Ben Gibbard
He really is sweet. He’s so easygoing.. Just a nice guy to hang out with.

everytime i listen to his songs, i always pause to think through them, depict them, and wonder how or what he felt while writing these lyrics, singing this melody, and facing them in front of a crowd.
I am obsessed with this guy. He is my hero, musically. Most of my inspiration came from his music. It is one of the reasons i am so in love with the girl im with.
I’m overwhelmingly excited because im seeing Death Cab in concert tomorrow in Oakland.
(The picture i attatched is one i took at the bridge school festival, when ben was playing soul meets body. It’s really cute cuz of the couple leaning on eachother)
I am basically obsessed with this man. I really hope he’s not arrogant, because that would skew my opinion of him. As of now I think he is the love of my life. Also I got a guitar stick of his after the Plans concert in Chicago, and I’d really like him to sign it. That is all.
As an artist I try to convey feeling and emotion………my thoughts spilled onto a blank canvas. Life without art has no meaning. Ben Gives life meaning.
This is a really odd …….now that I think about it….
I’m bored at work……..and when I’m not fighting the man and his capitalist ways……..I’m sitting in the office working for him. A day in the life of a concierge. Time to go home and paint and hope to explore the beauty of the world. I urge all of you to realize that although Ben G hehe is an amazing artist he is a person as well. Like you or myself, we may never have the opportunity to meet him, but we can learn from him. There are a great number of amazing people out there we have yet to encounter; I hope to have met them all before my life decides to fade away. =) –Thank you
Sincerely,
Ashley Mixon
Ben is a really talented musician, and it would be nice to get something signed by him so I can say I met him… but I heard he was a little arrogant/unfriendly so no conversation would be required. I wouldn’t know what to say to him anyway, it would probably be intimidating to meet someone who writes the music he does.
