Why I want to meet Linus Benedict Torvalds
Ilove all things related to linux and he is the father of linux. Its that simple.I would like a Meeting with him where i would try to learn something on linux programming from the linux guru himself!!!
Linus Benedict Torvalds (born December 28, 1969) is a Finnish computer scientist best known for initiating the development of Linux. He now acts as the project’s coordinator (or Benevolent Dictator for Life).

I admire Torvalds for standing up to the establishment which had considered his OS obsolete from day one.
Linus stuck with efficiency above all else, rejecting the micro kernel approach despite pressure from academic authorities like Tannenbaum.
Sure, monolithic kernels are old fashioned, and have drawbacks, but it’s the most efficient way to do it.
I also admire how he favors carefully thinking about code rather than using a debugger.
I would love to talk to him about his software and ask him about the ideas that are trapped within his code.
I gotta admit I am using windows. Thats becuase I cant use apps like macromedia *.
I don’t think Linus is a god, but he seems to be a pragmatic figure in the OpenSource movement.
He just let the dream of a free OS become real adding a kernel to the GNU set of applications.
To get a private lesson bout kernel, from the author himself haha
I admire Linus’ straight up focused coding. He is one that shows that a single person really can make something as complex and intimate as an operating system.
I’m not a Linux user but admire the man and could be converted if it wasn’t for my job.
