UK musician, former Japan lead singer, aka “The most beautiful man in the world”.
I have always admires David´s work and followed his development. It is difficult to pin-point what to talk about other than his music. I think I´d just like to have the opportunity to listen to his music live. I´m not interested in his private life, he seems quite a private person but his music is really captivating and has lots of personal meaning to me at various points in my life.
I interviewed David Sylvian in 1991, during Time Zones festival in Bari (Italy). It was my first interview ever, I had my tape recorder and I was incredibly anxious about this meeting.
