A story about George Carlin
RIP, George. I’m so sad I never got to meet you. You were awesome.
Comedian – Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television
George, what’s your definition of a sell-out? And no, I’m not implying anything towards you. Never! Thanks.
I just discovered him, actually, fortunately! I’m only of 18 years. Well, he really has impeccable timing with the things he says on stage. I always laugh till I cry. He is just a man of pure greatness, I’ve come to find.
He is one of the funnest and quick witted men I have ever heard. I have attended several of his concerts and have completely and throughly enjoyed everyone of them. He is a brilliant thinker who’s quick with and sarcasm is often just laughed off when he should really be taken seriously since a lot of what he says makes perfect sense.
I went with my father to see George Carlin in Las Vegas. My dad and I have always been big fans, so my dad decided to write him a letter to that effect and give it to his stage staff before the show. In the middle of his act, George stopped, took out the letter, read it on stage and told my dad and I to come see him after the show. We ended up back stage talking with him for about fifteen minutes, and he’s a really nice, normal guy. It was great getting to meet him.
You’re constant blathering and long hilarious rants keep me rolling on the floor. I think you should sell your soul for eternal life, that’d be awsome, long live George!!
I’ve listened to SOOO many of his stand ups and i want to at least see him live sometime, because my city’s got a zip code, so you better get the fuck over here, come to sacremento some time man, i wanna hear you be a crackup
