How I met John Kerry
I met him when he came to our capital.
He’s a really great man, I hope to meet him again someday.

I interviewed with his office in mid 1996 and I believed interviewed him when I was with America’s Defense Monitor.
He was in Virginia Beach campaigning for the election. He made a really good speech. I think John Edwards was there too. Unfortunately he didn’t win the election but he’s still great to me. My father also meet him when JK was in the Middle East.
If justice had prevailed in 2004, Kerry would be sitting in the White House right now.
The only good thing about Bush getting re-elected is that Bush is having to deal with all the shit he created. Not to mention Hurricane Katrina. Had Kerry been elected, he would have only been President for seven months when Katrina happened. Seven months is not long, and he sure could not have undone the damage done by the previous occupant of the White House in so little time. So Kerry would have been unfairly blamed for a screw-up that wasn’t his. But I do believe that Kerry would have handled the situation better. He would have been in New Orleans offering help, and no stupid comments like “You’re doing a heckuva job, Brownie!” would have come out of his mouth.
I used to date his director of finance- Mr. Kerry was great, really down to earth. It was a crying shame he wasn’t elected…....
