Met him at a nightclub (I was doing security). Not nearly as fat-lookin as he appears on tv. He is, however, atleast as amiable and personable as he appears on tv. Real nice, cool dude.
And shit, yeah, he’s a looong drink of water (I almost reached his chest, and I’m 6’ tall).

When playing for LSU Shaq used to frequent the area I was staying in. I met the big guy eating a custom built sandwich from a seafood place down the road. It’s hard to see him smile and not really like the guy, though with the attention he got (even back then) I thought it best to just let the guy eat. Still wish I would have gotten his autograph or something. ;)
