Joseph “Joss” Hill Whedon (b. June 23, 1964) is a writer, director, executive producer, and creator of several television series, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly.
Joss Whedon is a great writer. When Buffy the Vampire Slayer was on, it was one of the best programs on television. I believe during Season Five it was the best.
He also created Angel and Firefly, both great programs. I can’t believe Firefly only lasted one season. Leave it to FOX to kill a promising program.
He also worked on Speed, a great movie.
I love Joss—’Serenity’ became my favorite movie of all time before I even watched ‘Firefly;’ and then I watched that too and loved it.
He is amazing!!

I met Joss briefly on the floor of the San Diego Comicon. He stopped at a table that Skottie Young and Joshua Middleton had. After speaking with Skottie, I stepped up and said “thanks” shook his hand and walked away.
I would absolutely LOVE to meet Joss Whedon! I think he is witty, creative, and has an insite into the female mind that many men do not seem to possess. I would love to audition for his next work, or work with him in any way.
