A story about Stephen King
i dont read his books but i know hes a big red sox fan and so am i
The Almighty Gunslinger himself…...the wordsmith of incomparable talent….....he who changed my life oh so many years ago when I read my first ever word penned by the King….....”officious”.......(anyone know which book that one is from???)
-The Shining. Though you probably read a few words before that. It starts: “Jack Torrance thought: Officious little prick.”
It’s hard not to know Steve when you’ve live in Maine really. He’s an awesome really funny guy who was friends with my dad. I don’t see him as much as people think, I’ve only seen him a handful of times throughout my life. But he’s cool.
Really, I’d just like to have coffee with the guy and see how things are going….
Haha, wow. It kind of startled me when I searched for his name because the picture that’s his default on here is the same one I have on my myspace at the moment. O_O
...and I want that shirt.
I want to meet stephen king because his great writing talents even if he does go into way to much detail which is a little boring but he is still awesome.
I didn’t meet him per se… but I saw him in NYC at Radio City Music Hall last summer for the Harry, Carrie, and Garp reading. He was phenomenal. He did a reading from “The Body” and answered questions afterward.
“On writing” is the most well thumbed book in my shelf.
I would like to meet and talk with one of my true heroes who overcame addiction and grave injuries and who found love and truth.
the real reason why i want to meet Stephen King is because he’s an amazing writer. without his stories, i would’ve never writen my own and pass english. his stories are so detailed that i can still read them over and over again and never be bored with them. he has inspired me.
