Why I want to meet Sting
I am a musician with similar creativity.
Because he’s Sting, for god’s sake! Seriously, though, it’s a rare bird who can incorporate the lyric “Mephistopheles is not your name/But I know what you’re up to just the same” in a hit song. That right there is worth all manner of wacky hijinks, IMHO.
if he hasn’t seen a heart attack yet, meeting me would be a wonderful opportunity to do just that
I want to know what happened with his work to protect the rainforest in Brazil. Also he was an English teacher, like me.
When you work for a rock station, you don’t get paid a lot but you do get to meet rock stars. I interviewed Sting for about half an hour. I shook his hand, asked him what the secret to creativity was, and got him to sign my boxed set. He’s not very tall, has nice arms, is very polite, and wore a straw hat given to him by a fan. After the interview, I told myself I’d be okay quitting my job the next day, and retiring so I could stay home and bake cookies. (I didn’t though.)
I sing and play a bit myself. We even made a band. See for yourself I simply want to have some advice from my favorite singer.
Great Artist. Great Mind. Great way of living. He seems to be a really spiritual person, which is something I admire, cause I’m not, and would like to be.
Because there is no bad Sting or Police song. And let’s face it, he can grow to be a hundred and he will still be as sexy as ever. Absolutely love him.
