Robert Plant (placeholder)

because of his unbelievable soul, voice, lyrics, feelings…actually my words doesn’t have a meaning, cause we’re talkin about a man called “Robert Plant”.

and i am going to see this guy on 4th of July, with The Strange Sensation, i’m gonna feel his English elevated soul, and that amazing oriental voice, in a city we call “bridge of Asia and Europe”, Istanbul…

I know, that will be my best day of my life =)

I was fortunate enough to have been taken backstage to meet Page and Plant at a Miami show. It was about 10 minutes before they had to get on stage, and though it sounds cliche, it was indeed, surreal. I had so much I wanted to say and ask, specially to Jimmy, but Robert approached me a and immediately took over the conversation making me feel like the object of interest in the room. I suppose this ability and charisma is exactly what carries over to his stage presence. After a brief conversation with Robert I got to see an amazing show by them, and after the encore, as they were waving goodbye, Robert appeared to be searching the audience so I screamed and waved my hands and sure enough, he spotted me, grabbed Jimmy and pointed and waved me off. Awesome!!

June, 1997. Hong Kong. Weeks before the hand-over of sovereignty from Britain to China. He was backstage at concert/rave where my friend’s band, Kid Zero, played. He was apparently a business associate of one of the organizers—he was interested in buying property or real estate in Mainland China.

Plant was friendly and accomodating, but not particularly warm. He was a lot more reserved and mellow than I expected him to be, though.

I want to meet Robert Plant, because I want to tell him how much I love his voice, how I think he has the best voice in music today, and that he lives quite near me!!

I saw him live in December 2005, and his voice is just as good as you would expect…in fact, it’s crystal clear. He is truly one of the greats.

My friend Denise and I were at the Page Plant concert. Lili Hayden had just opened the show and she was awesome. They announced that she was going to sign autographs after her set. My friend and I went toward the back of the stadium and asked a roady-type person where she was going to sign autographs, and he said, “go up the stairs.”
So, we headed up the stairs and opened the door and discovered that we were in the backstage area of the stadium. We were standing outside of a door that said, “Robert”.
We stopped and looked at each other for a second, and heard a door open just down the hall.
Out walks Robert Plant! He walks over to us and says, “Hi, how are you doing.” and stuff like that. My friend and I stood there in awe, not knowing what to say!
Then, here comes Jimmy Page! He tells Robert, “We’re on in 10, man.” says Hi and walks back toward the door that Robert originally came out of.
Robert was so sweet, he said enjoy the show, and went into his dressing room.

We were sooooooo excited! We went back to our seats and watched the BEST CONCERT EVER!
After the show, we went back to the same place, outside of Robert’s dressing room. Lili Hayden was there. We said we loved her music and that she was awesome! We asked her for an autograph, so she told us to follow her. She went into Robert’s room, but a security guard stopped us. He asked us for our passes. We didn’t have any passes, so he escorted us out of the building.

I would LOVE to meet Robert Plant, again. This time I would talk to him and not just stand there in awe like a dumbass.

He’s an amazing man! I love to read interviews that he does where he talks about world cultures, music and politics.

He’s gorgeous, has a voice to die for (love that accent too!), is rich, smart, creative and after 40 years in the RnR business, he must have some stories to tell!! Everyone that meets him says he’s a great guy too. He’s a rock God and top rock royality. Who wouldn’t want to meet a person like that!

Since I’ve been loving you…Robert Plant! Not only is he charismatic and riveting; he’s got an amazing voice and so much soul. “Tangerine, Rock and Roll and Since I’ve Been Loving You” (to name a few) are some of the best songs ever!

Its ROBERT PLANT!!!!!!!!!!!! What other reason does one need???

Ok it wasn’t me that met him, it was my Brother. He lives in Ireland. Just before Christmas 2005, my brother and his family bumped into him on the Streets of Dublin. He was on his way to some Theatre to do a gig? or on his way to set up? something like that. Robert of course was idolized from all four members of my brothers family, his wife and two children. He was very cordual and chated for a few moments. He also allowed them to take a few photos of them together with there phone camera. They sent me the picture as a Christmas card. I say Robert still looks charming and is a taller man than I pictured. Once my brother gets off his lazy butt and emails me the photo’s, i will post it in here.
From what my bro told me, he’s a nice guy after all. Down to earth he said.
I’m in Canada…so hope one day I’ll meet him, most likely in California cause we are moving there one day…..GOING TO CALIFORNIA with a woman…....smoked all my grass and drank all my wine…......la la la da da da…....
