A story about David Dye
I started listening to David Dye in the early 80s when he joined WIOQ in Philadelphia. Years later, I discovered him again on Philly’s WXPN. After so many years of living without good radio, hearing his voice and his music again was like coming home. I was so happy I sat down on the floor in front of the stereo and cried while he played me some tunes. Good times.
David brings the good stuff to the party. His work on the World Cafe is legendary. Life wouldn’t be as good without him.
