Why I admire Billy Graham
He is one of the last great Christian evangelists and the last in line of those who reached the whole world for Jesus Christ. I also love his clear easy to understand Christian books.
He is one of the last great Christian evangelists and the last in line of those who reached the whole world for Jesus Christ. I also love his clear easy to understand Christian books.
He is one of the few public men in this world who walk the walk and do not just talk the talk. He lives what he believes.
I honor that in anyone who can do that.
What can be said about this incredible man? Not only has he helped so many to see their way out of a life of bondage, he has also raised up another generation of teachers and ministers to follow him.
May God Bless them all, keep them safe and provide all their needs to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth. Amen.
Wise, faithful, loving, and humble. He is one of the few famous evangelists out there who can truly catch my hearts attention. I just recently read his latest book called The Journey, and found it to be very inspiring. I guess it would take a miracle to meet him in this life, but maybe we’ll chat in the next.
I was invited by a friend of mine (a former wiccan who became a Christian) to go to his crusade meeting in San Francisco at the Cow Palace. I went because I wanted to hear Jars of Clay perform, but I left a saved Christian. At the time, my friend was a counselor at the crusade and she was hoping I’d have a change of life that night.
I asked her to counsel me as I accepted Christ that night. I have never looked back with regret, and am still a follower of Christ the Lord and Messiah. The music may have gotten me there, but the Holy Spirit filled me with the hope of renewal.
Thank you, Rev. Graham. God bless you mightily!
I saw Billy Graham deliver a sermon at Qualcom stadium in San Diego a couple of years ago. I was with my oldes daughter. She and I walked down to the infield on his call to step forward. I had done this many years ago while a youth in our hometown Baptist church, but this was a first for my daughter. I pray we always remember that moment and what it represents.
I have so much respect for people that boldly state their faith but yet will not shove it down another’s throat. That’s the way I strive to be. “Here’s what I believe and why,but I will love and respect you equally even if you don’t believe the same way.”
I think that’s why he is so respected the globe over because of his genuine love and respect for people regardless of where they are in their life.
