Steven Curtis Chapman (placeholder)

I wanna meet this guy bad! He has been my favorite singer since the second grade! He music is ever evolving, but he always has a calm signature singing style that I love to listen to! He is an amazing singer with talent that can only be given my God!

I was guarding a gate at a local music festival and I almost didn’t let his drummer into the festival because he didn’t have an the correct arm band on. After about 15 minutes of questioning he finally remembered he had a piece of ID on him verifying he was SCC’srummer. He was so impressed by our security skills that he introduced us to SCC after the show.

Stephen Curtis Chapman did a show in Mpls/St. Paul when I was in college and afterward he signed autographs and did pics with people at a local Christian bookstore. I was a complete goody two shoes back then. I got a flyer signed by him.

I met him about 16 years ago,very early on in his career. What a GREAT guy!!!!!! He was soooooo sweet and genuine. Qualities I truly admire in people. It was after a concert and he took the time to talk and joke with me and was so open and sincere about his goals for his career and his family. I respect him a lot for keeping his priorities in order since then and following his goals and not getting arrogant like so many well known people.
