Ceasar Milan is the Dog Whisperer. His show is on National Geographic channel and he refers to himself not as a dog trainer, but a dog psychologist. He rehabilitates dogs, and trains people. Ceasar Milan is a straightforward, down to earth, caring, and exceptional person. He was born and raised on a farm in Mexico and came to America illegally to work with dogs. He started out as a groomer but quickly got a great reputation for working with the difficult animals. Ceasar believes that no dog deserves to die because the people that own and care for it are too stupid or unwilling to understand the animal(my words). His Dog Psychology center in Los Angeles is home to a pack of 30 or more dogs that were tagged as too aggressive or vicious to live and were to be euthanised. He turned these throw-aways of our society into happy, healthy, and balanced animals that are all members of his pack and now help in sort of doggie group therapy with his clients dogs. He is a legitimate miracle worker, but only because many americans have lost touch with the natural world and animals, and so treat their pets as people, in turn harming them and CAUSING the behavior problems these animals are punished for. He is humane, fair, and I believe should be recognised as a hero, as much as Steve Irwin or Jane Goodall.
