Well,I met him (2X!),because of my Dad(thanks Papa!).He had to work with Mr Hauer and because I had never been to N-Y,he took me with him.It was great. He’s a really great guy, with a good sense of humor and a bad taste for shoes ;)...No,really. But I had a lovely time with him,and his gdson.

and sorry for being so shy…
(I didn’t even dare to tell him that,when I about 8, thought that the guy he played in “Blind Fury” was the coolest hero ever (...erm,remember I was 8!,and wanted to become a BLIND Archeologist,OK?)

I admire Rutger because he is such a great actor, and not bad looking may i add!!
Other actors, not all, play different characters but keep their habbits from films they have been in previously, like face expressions or getting angry or smiling, with Rutger, each characther he plays is compelely and utterly absalutley different, i cant even tell its him playing a different character.
It also amazes me how he didnt even want to be an actor, he wanted to be a sailor, but still, he has an amazeing talent in acting! Ill bet he loved filming Voyage!!

Not only does Rutger Hauer have a kick ass name, but when i watched Blade Runner (a movie i didn’t necessarily like) he shined like a star. I was an instant fan of his after that.
