A story about Martin Fowler
We are growing with his magnificent books and ideas. He is one of the gurus i admire most.

Me and my friends admire this person and I think he is idol of many programmers
At RubyConf 2005 in San Diego. He probably does not remember me now, but I’m a ThoughtWorker now so I’m sure we’ll meet again sometime.
His thinking on software is focused on the sweet spot of theory that affects our everyday ability to create something cool.
He is a success. Good communication skills and best books, that aim the reader, not the writer :) I would like to know him.
One of my proudest moments in my carreer was when Martin, at JAOO 2003 asked me to explain IoC and PicoContainer to him. Later he wrote an article on Dependency Injection where he thanked me for reviewing the article.
I joined ThoughtWorks in London two and half years ago. I got into the office on the monday and just around lunch time Martin came in and sat down the desk next to me. That’s when I realized it was going to be quite a ride working for ThoughtWorks.
I met Martin Fowler years ago in the pages of his books. I recently had the pleasure of actually meeting Martin Fowler in person at RubyConf 2005. Martin is a very friendly, very sharp guy. He was gracious enough to sit down and talk with me for about 15 minutes about what he’s up to and the project I’m currently working on.
Do us all a favor and buy this man a beer when you see him!
