I really wish I could have known my grandparents when they were young. Their stories are so vivid and intriguing. It would allow me to see the person that they used to be, their essence.

This will never happen, but I always dream about meeting them. Both of my grandfathers and one of my grandmothers passed away before I was born. I only met one of my grandmothers when I was a couple of months old. I obviously do not remember it, but I saw a home video of it. I envy people who have close relationships with their grandparents. I always imagine how my life would be if I knew my grandparents.
