How I met Adam Guettel
He is an alumni of my school. I was in an english class and he came in to do an assembly. None of knew who he was, but we were told to listen to songs from a light in the piazza, etc. I fell in love with “Hero and Leander”. I brought it up as my favorite one in the class, and he mentioned in passing that he sang it. I was amazed to be in his presence.
He was kind of a screwed up passionate kid like me, and was pretty inspiring. In a lot of rock bands and things. Anyways, he is a very charismatic and passionate person… lots of fun to talk to
