A story about Patrick Stewart
I got to see him as Macbeth on Broadway and he was brilliant. But I didn’t get to meet him.
I got to see him as Macbeth on Broadway and he was brilliant. But I didn’t get to meet him.
I waited outside the stage door after seeing him in the play A Life In The Theatre in February 2005. I’m not ashamed to wait and get my programme signed if I really admire the actor.
I watched Patrick Stewart become Jean Luc Picard on STNG when I was a just a kid. The thing I remember the most about him was his acting. It conveyed so much strength and passion. The complexity he gave to his character was truly something special. His presence is both regal and common. In appearances he was an “older” captain than Shatner’s Kirk, but Kirk could never match Picard’s passion, vitality, character, intelligence, ingenuity, wisdom, diplomacy or commanding presence.
Been absolutely in love with him since I was a kid, watching every possible episode of Star Trek TNG. He’s an amazing actor! I’d give anything to meet him, though I’d probably go all fan-girl, which is a little embarrassing.
because he is a versertile actor. I would love to work on his side. He simply makes me smile =D
He just makes me….... smile. I love his voice! I like his acting diversity – Shakespeare to Star Trek. What’s NOT to like?
I meet him at the stage door of the Albery Theatre, St Martin’s Lane, London, after seeing him in A Christmas Carol,
What a Fabulous actor!!!
