A story about Ringo Starr
There are unfortunately only two members of the Beatles left, Ringo being one of them. The Beatles were a big influence on me for as long as I can remember. Hearing their music always feels like coming home to me.
(a.k.a. Richard Starkey) Beatles drummer & Shining Time conductor

Well because he’s a Beatle, of course. He & Paul McCartney, unfortunately, are the only ones left. He must have quite a bunch of really interesting stories to tell & insights into things.
i love the beatles and my fav is ringo starr despite what people say i love his nose and think he had the coolest liverpool accent out of the lot of em! he is funny and very talented his feet have basically allways been flat on the ground he never got an ego or caught up in the limelight and thats why i admire him.
My daughter and I saw him in concert in Albuquerque, NM July 2, 2006. We were blown away by his talent, his humor, his energy, and his band! A fantastic and memorable night. We were flying high for a week.
At the Rio Hotel/Casino a couple of years ago. He was playing a concert with his “All Starr Band.”
Well, I’ve dug Ringo’s music since I was 12 years old. His music and message is always positive. It’s always about peace and love.
His latest albums are absolutely mind-blowing, though I like them all, even those non-critically-acclaimed albums. IMHO he is the best rock and roll drummer ever. I also enjoy his son Zak’s work with the Who and the Lightning Seeds.
I would love to meet Ringo.
