Kevin Bacon (placeholder)

I met Kevin Bacon when I was 15 in NYC @ FAO Schwartz…he was shopping for legos :) He was very kind to me even tho he probably just wanted to get on with his gift buying!

Working at The Mystic Theatre, he was there to play a gig with his brother——The Bacon Brothers, and my friends were there with me backstage of course trying to catch a glimpse of him…and we started doing lines form Footloose…and were giggling and saying “There’s no dancing in this town” and dumb stuff like that…

I guess he/or someone heard us because someone got up and closed the door to their dressing room!

When he later walked out to the stage, he gave me a wink and really goofy smile…

I don’t know it was really funny to us at the time…

I met Kevin when he was at Carnegie-Mellon University. I had gone to visit a good friend of mine. Kevin threw a bagel at me. I’ve liked him ever since.

i absolutely love kevin bacon more than anyone. i have loved him since i was a kid in movies like My Dog Skip, and he was also the voice of Balto in the movie Balto. i have dreamed of meeting him my entire life! I have become overly obsessed with the movie footloose as well. He’s the greatest actor ever and i have like every movie that he’s in! It took me a while to find them all, but i think i got them all! ;p Most importantly, Hes SOOO FINNEE!!!! That Kyra Sedgewick is quite lucky…

I have an autographed picture from Kev himself with my name on it & his. I am a friend of a friend of his personal assistant. He also sent me an autographed fender guitar, an autographed baseball hat from his movie “Stir of Echoes” & a microphone signed by him & his brother! I was supposed to meet him at the House of Blues in Chicago in July of this year (2006), but it was cancelled. I’m hoping my dream will come true soon. Katie Holmes’ did. Why not me!!!

Firstly I want to ask him why and how he got so darn skinny! He’s skeletal scary these days. Then I’d ask him about his film “The Woodsman” and his views on child abuse and how this movie ties into those views if they do. Then I’d get a big chart and find out if everyone really is just 6 people apart :)

So I can be 1 degree removed from Kevin himself. Then I think I’d really be a master networker!

Well, I didn’t really meet Kevin Bacon. But I did make the bagel he ate when he stopped by the bagel bakery in Northampton. He was in town to play a gig with his brother.

I absolutely love Kevin Bacon. I think he is a very talented actor, and doesn’t recieve the recognition he deserves! I have all of him movies and I think they are all great. Besides, he is sexy!!!
