George Lucas (placeholder)

I used to see George Lucas sitting in the lobby at 20th Century Fox back in the late 80s on a regular basis. Although we were told to not pester, talk to or address any of the famous faces that came into the building. (Orion Pics, Walt Disney Films, NFH Films and William Morris Agency had offices there) so you would see a vast array of famous faces.

Anyway as a real film buff and admirer of American Graffitti I’d talk to fellow staff about films and stuff in general and one day Lucas unknown to me was sitting there and overhead me talking about old movies and joined in. He was a great admirer of Jimmy Stewart and also liked Tron, so it was kinda funny talking to him about great movies having made one of the most famous and popular series thus far. Really grounded. He reminds me of the dude in big lebowski

I personally think he is one of the greatest cinematic masterminds of our time. He is right up there with Steven Speilburg. He most likely made more than just the Star Wars Saga, but thats where I think his pride lies. Did you know Darth Vader is #3 on Worst Villains in history list? If I met him in person, I think I would faint in shock.

I’d really like to meet George Lucas because I love what he does. I’m a fan of the two Star Wars trilogies. I think this man is a genius, he’s brilliant!
His movies are very deep, full of philosophical questions, of captiviting stories, of charismating caracters,... For all this, I admire him.

Star Wars. why else?

What a detailed brain! I want to know how he sleeps at night with all that going on.

Also – whats next? Bring on more Star Wars!
