Mel Columcille Gerard Gibson (born January 3, 1956) is an Academy Award–winning U.S.-born, Australian-raised actor, director and producer, best known for acting in the Mad Max movie series, the Lethal Weapon series, acting in and directing the Academy Award–winning Braveheart and directing the 2004 blockbuster The Passion of the Christ. Why I admire Mel Gibson
I admire Mel because very few modern Hollywood (read “world”) directors shoot outstanding films.
To evolve, people should learn pushing beyond their limits; Mr. Gibson did this by evolving far beyond his lethal weapon type/way of thinking. Moreover, he managed not only to demonstrate his evolution with his “The Passion of Christ” and “Apocalypto”, but to communicate his message about so indispensable human development.

Why I want to meet Mel Gibson
I just want to tell him that the lethal weapon series kicked ass. Braveheart kicked ass. And even though i passed out for 10 minutes in the passion of the christ, it still kicked ass. Its just hard to get the message in that movie but i got it.
And Mel, im sorry about your DUI and im sure you learned your lesson. So you made a mistake, big whoop. I’m just sorry you had to take so much criticism against your “anti-semetic comments”. Why can’t people be more mature and respect your feelings/opinion even if they disagree with it. Im not saying that I am against jews, I am saying that while i disagree with what you say, i will defend to the death your right to say it.

Maybe I can pass on a good alcoholic anonymous referral? Or direct him to an anger management specialist?
Although I do not know why the richest guy in Hollywood other than Oprah should be angry.
Plus the whole anti-semitism thing is annoying too. I mean Jesus was Jewish and lived and died a Jew right? He even made a movie about it. All very curious.

because i admire him more and more everytime I see something about him. because he made the greatest movie of all time, a real gut wrencher, not for the dollars but for his own soul’s sake! because he has a great sense of humor, and I think lunch would be a blast! because someone said he is a night owl…so am I! I don’t know many!!!
