Why I want to meet JT LeRoy
JT LeRoy is a real person. I know two people who actually know him, the who thing is a double indentity screw up meant to make you stop and think. In the end it doesn’t matter if he is male or female or real or not, since you have read the story then you have made him real again.
This is the same as with Dennis Cooper’s writings, the same theory holds.
Why I want to meet JT LeRoy
Are his books semi autobiographical? If so how on Earth has he not been institutionalised? I know that he has drawn on personal experiences for much of his work. How much is factual is just one of the questions I would like to ask.
