A story about Kevin Spacey
I met him at the First light film awards.
he was lush :)
Academy Award-winning actor, who starred in many amazingly memorable films, such as “American Beauty”, “The Life of David Gale”, “The Shipping News”, “Pay It Forward”, “The Negotiator”, “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”, “LA Confidential”, “A Time to Kill”, “Se7en”, “The Usual Suspects”, “Iron Will”, “Glengarry Glen Ross”, and more.
I saw him do an uncanny impression of Christopher Walken on “Inside the Actor’s Studio” and knew that I had to meet him.
He is so articulate and intelligent. I really respect him for taking over the Old Vic rather than continue with the Hollywood thing.
I love watching him speak.
My favourite films by him:
1) Pay it Forward
2) K-Pax
Awesome :o)
Because I’d have my mom make dinner, I’d make cupcakes and he’s amuse us with his mimickry.
He seems like a truly down to earth kinda guy and I kinda want him to be my boyfriend :)
Kevin is a brilliant human being. He has a mind like a steel trap and a memory that surprises in its recall. A kind, decent, and charming man. I look forward to meeting him again.
I met him at the London Film Festival when he was here for K Pax with Jeff Bridges whom I would really like to have spoken to, but alas I didn’t get to say hello, he was hanging around backstage, but Kevin was wandering around. I met him again at the Pizza Express in Soho during a Peter Cincotti gig (this was before the bobby darin film which Cincotti appeared in) and Spacey was sitting at the same table as me. very sharply dressed, very engaging and so laid back. When he talks to you and you back, he’s really listening and gives you full attention, not so true with alot of ordinary people let alone celebs at such events.
An incredible actor. I loved him in so many movies. His impressions are awesome.
I was at, for lack of a better term, a gay party, in West LA. Spacey was sitting on a couch next to Bryan Singer, doing lines of blow on the coffee table.
True story.
I saw Kevin Spacey in London’s West End on the opening night of American Beauty. He was getting out of his limo & my husband and I were looking for a taxi back to our room in Knightsbridge.
I said to my husband rather loudly,OMG! that’s KEVIN SPACEY!! Kevin must have heard this, he looked right at me and smiled. I didn’t say anything to him, just kept talking to my husband & looking for a cab. I should have waved at least..DUH!
