He flew all the way to NC and came to my house and we spent the day together talking about my life. I was going to be in his latest book and he mentions me in the back of the book.
My son met him and I took pictures of Po as I showed him a local river that had personal meaning to me.
He met my Grandmother and interviewed her and Po and I went to lunch together.
He is an awesome person!!!

I had lunch with Po at a place in NOLA that was once a brothel. Sporting House cafe. Alas, it’s gone. His wife was there with lil baby in tow. He was about to write his killer What should I do with my life? book.
I continue to enjoy his book, “What Should I Do With My Life?”
I was at a reading of his, and the chair I was sitting in was wobbly. Naturally, I was sitting in the front row. Most of the way through his talk, the chair collapsed. Afterward, he came over to make sure I really was okay.
