Why I admire Rivers Cuomo
When I saw him for my 16th birthday way back when, I almost passed out from euphoria and disbelief. Weezer was the first legitimate band I transitioned to after my terrible middleschool/highschool years. A gateway band, if you will. And yet, I remain a slave to them, and I defend every album to the death. <3Rivers

Rivers is great. His focus/talent is amazing. I think over the decade that he’s been around, he’s really put forth his music as best he can, and still continues to do so.
How I met Rivers Cuomo
I got to meet this guy at a private show for the Mars Volta. He laughed at me when I fell off my chair when I saw Omar. We talked a bit, snapped a picture. He was pretty quiet, but overall very nice.

Rivers is Amazing. i have been a huge Weezer fan since forever. When you read Rivers myspace entries, you really get to know and understand him.
