Okay, I met Eliza a few years back. My mom worked for a moving company at the time and Eliza’s grandparents were moving here. She was here with her mom helping them settle in. My mom’s husband at the time was there to pick up boxes and Eliza’s mom mentioned a few things she was in. Well, he didn’t know, but he recognized a couple from things that my sisters and I watched all the time, aka Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This was right after Bring it On. Well, she autographed a few Bring It On souveneirs but she had to go and offered him to come back the next day and get the others signed. Well, obviously we freaked because she’s a star. We went with him the next day. We’d bought her a gift and she was asleep when we got there, but she got up and met with us and asked us to come back again. A few hours later, we sat with her grandparents hearing about her career waiting for her to get home. She had gone to a store and bought disposable cameras so we could take pictures with her. It was an amazing experience and she’s a really sweet person. I still have all the things she signed and the pics.
I admire Eliza because she does such an amazing job whether she is playing someone good or bad.
Met her when she filmed “Race For the Sun” in Alice Springs. She was a spoilt brat then and the complaint was rather trivial but thanks to the problem I was called out for, I had the opportunity to treat someone who was seriously ill and didn’t know it. The intervention saved his life.
