A story about Johnny Cash
When I was a kid, my mum and dad took me and my sister to Edinburgh Zoo. We were walking around the zoo looking at the animals, as you do, when my mum and dad started saying that they could not believe it – ‘Johnny Cash was in the zoo’. I did not know at that time who Johnny Cash was, as I was only about 8 or 9 or something, but he had turned up in a black limo – possibly to do a video shoot or something. My mum and dad tried to get me and my sister to go over and say hello but we wouldn’t. I never did become a fan of his music but if I had been a bit older I may have gone over – I was just too young to appreciate then seeing somebody famous was not something that happened every day!
