Why I admire Carl Rogers

I think that the humanistic approach to psychotherapy is superior to the other styles of therapy.

I read the book “On Becoming a Person” which talks of his approach to psychotherapy.

I have been to therapists who use the person-centred form of the humanistic approach, and it has been highly beneficial in my recovery from depression.

Although Freud could be thought of as the founding father of psychotherapy, I believe that Rogers was much better.
